Burn SRT Subtitles into a Video

Soft subtitles disappear in many phone players and social apps. This page burns the SRT into the picture, so the words stay visible after you upload or send the MP4.

Drop the video, then add an SRT

or click anywhere in this area to choose files

MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI · Max 300 MB · SRT captions

No SRT selected yet. One subtitle file is used for every video in the queue.

Hard Subtitles, Not a Separate Caption File

Burned-in words travel with the video. A loose SRT does not.

One SRT, one or more videos

Use the same subtitle file on every clip in the queue, or just one video.

Visible on phones

The words are drawn into the frames, so they still show in apps that ignore subtitle tracks.

Privacy-first

Everything runs on your device in the browser—your originals stay private.

Video Plus an SRT File

Captions need a timed .srt file, not plain text pasted into a box.

Video input

MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, and AVI up to 300 MB each.

Shorter clips process faster in the browser.

SRT captions

UTF-8 .srt files. The bundled font covers Latin letters. Scripts outside that font may not draw.

The download is named like clip_subtitled.mp4.

How to Add Subtitles to a Video

The SRT timestamps decide when each line appears.

1

Add the video

Drop the clip, then choose the .srt file in the settings row.

2

Burn

Pick caption size and top or bottom, then click Burn Subtitles.

3

Download

Save your MP4 files directly to your device when conversion completes.

Subtitle Burn-in Questions

Hard captions, SRT timing, and which letters the font can draw.

Will the subtitles stay after I send the video?

Yes. They are drawn into the picture. You do not need to send the SRT file with the MP4.

Are my files uploaded to your servers?

No. Processing runs locally in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are not sent to Videoradius servers.

Which subtitle format works?

SRT only. Each cue needs a start time, an end time, and the line of text. VTT and ASS files are not accepted here.

Can it draw Chinese or other scripts?

The browser font covers Latin letters, numbers, and common punctuation. Other scripts may show as boxes. For full fonts and longer videos, use the Videoradius desktop editor.

What is the maximum file size?

Each video can be up to 300 MB. Burning captions re-encodes the picture, so a long clip takes longer.

Can I edit the subtitle timing here?

No. Fix the times in the SRT before you upload it. This page only burns the file you provide.
